CMI Uniform Rules for Sea Waybills
These rules were adopted at the meeting of the International Maritime Committee, June 29, 1990 in Paris. CMI Uniform Rules for Sea Waybills are used in the event that they are accepted in accordance with the contract of carriage that is not covered by the bill of lading or similar document of title , regardless of whether an agreement is made in writing or not.

According to the Rules of electronic bills of lading CMI , the right of control over the product and its transmission requires the possession of personal identification code , which communicates carrier to the sender after receipt of the goods to be transported .
