Meeting of Tunisian entrepreneurs at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Tunis_27_10_21On October 27, a large-scale event took place at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - a meeting of entrepreneurs from Tunisia with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Exporters and Importers ZED, representatives of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, as well as the State Enterprise Ukrmetrteststandrt. The main goal was to give Tunisian business a clear understanding of how to correctly enter the Ukrainian market with their products.

The event was opened by the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Valeriy Korol, having said welcoming words to Tunisian entrepreneurs, and also expressed hopes for fruitful cooperation between our countries.

Then Anna Lyubimaya, Deputy Director of the Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, took the floor, talking about the opportunities, services and assistance in solving problematic issues that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry could provide for the entry of Tunisian companies into the Ukrainian market.

The event was continued by Sergei Svystil, Freelance President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the Council for Foreign Economic Affairs at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Chairman of the Council of the ZED Association, making a very informative presentation on the organization of effective export of Tunisian goods to Ukraine. Representatives of Tunisian companies were presented with statistics on the import of Tunisian goods to Ukraine, the total import of products of Tunisian origin in the world, and an analysis of imports by country and by product was shown. Sergei Svystil also spoke about the services provided, many years of experience in solving problematic issues of the "Association of Exporters and Importers" ZED ", as well as the possibilities of promoting and successfully doing business for Tunisian entrepreneurs.

Andriy Ocheret, Deputy Head of the Department for Organization of Customs Control and Clearance of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, attended the event online. He told the representatives of the Tunisian delegation in detail about the peculiarities of the customs clearance procedure for imported goods in Ukraine.

The next speaker was Natalia Tereshchenko, head of the scientific and technical department for assessing the conformity of food products of the State Enterprise "Ukrmetrteststandard", with information on the procedure for certification of food, agricultural products and other goods in Ukraine, as well as on the special requirements for certification, restrictions and prohibitions.

In conclusion, Oksana Lykova, Director of the Association of Exporters and Importers ZED, took the floor, talking about the peculiarities of customs clearance and logistics when importing Tunisian goods into Ukraine.
