Representatives of 64 organizations and companies took part in today's meeting of the Council for Foreign Economic Affairs, including the President of the CCI Gennady Chizhikov and most of the regional CCIs.
The head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Vladislava Magaletskaya, informed about the specifics of the export of food products to China in 2022.
In 2021, 25 forms of international certificates for the export of objects of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision from Ukraine were approved. Currently, 380 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export to the countries of the European Union. Work is underway to open markets: EU, USA, PRC, South Korea, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Indonesia, India, Australia, Thailand, Morocco, Chile, Singapore, Ethiopia, Angola, Tanzania, Algeria, Hong Kong, Brazil, etc. A total of 156 commodity items are currently being opened. The State Food and Consumer Service in 2021 agreed bilateral forms of certificates with Azerbaijan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
By agreement with the State Customs Service, the Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the UKT Foreign Economic Activity Department Andrey Melnik took part in the work of the Council, who informed about the introduction of a new version of the Harmonized System for Description and Coding of Goods into effect from 2022.
The ZED Association prepared for the meeting participants analytical information on assessing general trends and tendencies in international trade, new challenges and opportunities for Ukraine in 2022.
Representatives of the Kherson and Donetsk CCIs also spoke on topical issues of foreign economic activity, on which they agreed to send inquiries to the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
