October, 16th an agreement on creation of the Coordinating Council for industrial and logistic issues was signed.
The members of such an association were the Association ZED, the Ukrainian Association of Business and Trade (UABT) and the Association of International Carriers of Ukraine (AsMAP).
In the face of new challenges and difficulties that arise in the field of foreign economic activity, we decided to join forces and help businesses solve top issues. Some of theese issues are providing carriers with the necessary number of permits for road transport to EU countries, lobbying the interests of domestic manufacturers and carriers in the EU, stimulating the export of Ukrainian products to the EU.
Ivan Nagornyak, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Nazar Bobytskyi, Head of the Brussels Office of UBTA, Leonid Kostyuchenko, President of AsMAP of Ukraine, and Oksana Lykova, Director of Association ZED, emphasized the importance on updating the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine and supporting domestic producers and carriers.
The created Council is open for accession and is ready to cooperate on complex issues for promotion domestic products to the EU and other regions. The Chairman is Sergii Svystil.
